OZGA - Composer, Producer & Performer

About: OZGA

Progressive "elec-tronica" artist OZGA (aka Scott Ozga) is no newbie to the music scene. For over 25 years, OZGA has written, recorded, produced and performed a vast array of styles within the broader realm of electronic music, using acoustic instrumentation and numerous virtual/electronic mediums as his creative palette.

From as far back as the days of pre-midi analog synths, moving progressively forward into today’s world of virtual synthesis and sample based sound design, OZGA has consistently tracked (and creatively utilized) all available state of the art technologies in his electronic music productions.

Aside from a minimal childhood musical education focused mostly on guitar and bass, OZGA is basically a self-taught musician. Unlike many of today’s "FX trend" based musical arrangements existing in this genre, OZGA compositions are initially inspired by actual contemporary (piano) song formulation and only then is electronic music technology used to further develop the desired sound and feel.

This particular composition/arrangement process aids in the development of the uniquely fresh, energetically original, trademark OZGA sound. While writing and creating music via keyboards and voice, OZGA strives to integrate his foundational rock background on bass and guitar, resulting in an overall, rock-rhythmic structure and feel that flows throughout his electronica arrangements.

Back now, after nearly a decade of deep and comprehensive musical re-assessment, OZGA returns to the public realm with a whole new progressive "eclec-tronica" sound. This new sound borrows nicely from the techno and synth pop of the 80s and 90s, while also blending and incorporating several fundamental groove elements of today’s modern trance music.

Now, returning with a completely new instrumental and vocal sound developed and symbiotically supported through arrangements that will definitely get noticed in the rapidly expanding genre of pop-progressive electronic music, OZGA sets his sails and offers you a ride on this musical journey of the heart, mind and soul.
